Generate WebP

Generate WebP file when adding image file in Media Library.
Generate WebP from all the images by ajax.
Generate WebP from all the images in the background.
Optionally, Can replace image files with WebP when adding new media, and delete the original image file. Also, when generating all images, the original image file ID will be overwritten as WebP and the original image file will be deleted. All URLs in the content are also replaced.

The only plugin I could find to remove the old JPEG while converting into WebP. This is great!!!

Hello everyone, be careful, the plugin does not create thumbnails in WooCommerce for your catalog. This is despite the fact that if you choose a complete replacement for the web.

Этот плагин просто эталон сверх качественной бесплатной разработки. Он идеально подходит для использования в паре с WP Rocket. Во-первых у него есть функция генерации в фоновом режиме, и когда он закончит генерить, то пришлет письмо уведомление. Во-вторых он регистрирует фото WEBP в библиотеке медиа. А так же дает возможность создавать расширения коренные или просто добавочные к текущему расширению файла. Например фото.jpg, может бить сгенерировано как фото.webp либо фото.jpg.webp И вот последний вариант отлично подходит для настройки WP Rocket, нужно просто активировать опцию WebP Compatibility Автор и разработчик один из не многих очень крутой человек 😉 Благодарю 100 раз!

This is a great plugin! It does things like none of the other, similar plugins do. Not only does it convert your media to the efficient .webp format, it offers to delete the original image(s)! Just what I needed. In the open source tradition of WordPress, the developer has produced a plethora of plugins, and doesn't try to stick his hand in your pocket! @brianbrown

Great plugin! Many features - change or append webp extension on files, replaces jpg files, serves webp files. Just WOW. Thank you, sir. (keep dancin'.) He has a plugin you can buy to support (no Paypal donation in Japan) his work, too! Check out all the other amazing plugins he is sharing, as well. Bravo, sir.
