描述
This is the simple plugin to fetch data from Google Sheets and display it on your website.
This plugin only works with Block Editor, doesn’t support Classic Editor.
How to use
- Create the api key. For more detail. Please refer to https://developers.google.com/sheets/api/quickstart/js#step_1_turn_on_the.
- Move to the settings page from side menu that Plugins > WP Simple Google Sheets Fetcher.
- Save your API key at the settings page.
- Turn on Get shareable link. For more detail. Please refer to https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2494822#link_sharing
- Choose “Fetcher” block at the “WP Simple Spreadsheet Fetcher for Google” category, use side panel to indicate the cell to fetch data.
- It will display the data in your post or page.

安裝
- Download the zip, extract it and upload the extracted folder to your-wp-directory/wp-content/plugins/
- Go to the plugins administration screen in your WordPress admin and activate the plugin.

It works fine, but you have to realise that it only fetches simple data. HTML or images are not parsed. A pity, since I would like to use it as a simple price comparison table (with affiliate links etc). I’ll unse the more extensive TablePress plugin (with lots of extensions…) inbstead.

There are many people who don’t care for Gutenberg or Block Editors we use Classic and need a way to embed sheets. But again another plugin that has no clear info as to it ONLY works with Blocks

This plugin synchronizes the web page with Google spreadsheet at real time.
Setup of Google side is messy but detailed instruction plus video made it easy. Great works.
