This plugin will allow WordPress site admin to set a personalized message for every visitor, they visit the site first time. You can use this Popup plugin with various options. Customize the plugin as per your need.

安裝

  1. Unzip ‘welcome_popup.zip’ to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory or add it by ‘Add new’ in the Plugins menu.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu.
  3. Go to ‘Settings->Welcome Popup’ in the admin menu.

Cookies don't work

Weak plugin. Modal keeps popping up every time, cookies are not being set properly, which is basic and essential for this functionality. I recommend a plugin called Modal Dialog instead.

Doesn't do as expected

It displays an overlay, that is working. The title is displayed, fine. But the content which can be given isn't, instead part of the page content is displayed, which isn't at all what is expected...
