WooCommerce category blocks support additional categories, you can add maximum 6 blocks as additional categories. Where WooCommerce category slider part supports a unlimited number of categories.

WooCommerce Category Showcase has built-in shortcode builder with a nice easy interface where you can add and remove your selected category from a drop-down menu.

安裝

Automatic Install From WordPress Dashboard

  1. Login to your the admin panel
  2. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New
  3. Search WooCommerce Category Showcase
  4. Click install and activate respectively.

Manual Install From WordPress Dashboard

If your server is not connected to the Internet, then you can use this method-

  1. Download the plugin by clicking on the red button above. A ZIP file will be downloaded.
  2. Login to your site’s admin panel and navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload.
  3. Click choose file, select the plugin file and click install

Install Using FTP

If you are unable to use any of the methods due to internet connectivity and file permission issues, then you can use this method-

  1. Download the plugin by clicking on the red button above.A ZIP file will be downloaded.
  2. Unzip the file.
  3. Launch your favorite FTP client. Such as FileZilla, FireFTP, CyberDuck etc. If you are a more advanced user, then you can use SSH too.
  4. Upload the folder to wp-content/plugins/
  5. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  6. Navigate to Plugins -> Installed
  7. Activate the plugin

How to create a WooCommerce category showcase

To create a WooCommerce category showcase from the admin panel, select ‘WC Showcase’ menu from left side click on new. Then put a title select featured categories and additional categories from the drop down. Save the post.
There will be visible a shortcode on the right side. Copy that and place anywhere on the site you want.

How to hide the WooCommerce category showcase title?

To disable showing title set to No from Show Title drop down from the showcase builder panel.

How many featured category can be added

You can add an unlimited number of featured categories.

How many additional categories can be added

You can add maximum 6 categories as additional categories.

How to use WooCommerce Category Showcase in the template file

Place the snippet where you want. Change the id with the appropriate one.

What an awesome little plugin. After tinkering with default woocommerce shortcodes, css hacks and a lot of wasted time, this plugin did EXACTLY what I wanted, and then some. I absolutely LOVE the category slider on the left. One small issue which has been addressed in the support forum. When you copy the shortcode from the sidebar and paste it into the classic editor, it will insert it as "Preformatted". This will cause the static category pictures to display under the category slider. To fix this, in the dropdown under the "Add Media" button, switch it from "preformatted" to "paragraph", and it will display correctly.
