Swift Control – A Better WordPress Admin Bar

Replace the default WordPress admin bar and give logged-in users the user experience they deserve.

Swift Control allows you to quickly navigate to the key areas of your website like the theme customizer, your WordPress dashboard and edit the current page/post/custom post type.

  • Swift Control
  • Swift Control Admin Settings Page

  1. Download the swift-control.zip file to your computer.
  2. Unzip the file.
  3. Upload the swift-control folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  4. Activate the plugin through the Plugins widget in WordPress.

Where can I define what controls are shown on the front end?

Navigate to Settings > Swift Control to change the order the controls are displayed in and choose which ones you would like to show.

I've been using WP Swift Control for a while on my client sites and it works a treat! The Pro version is an absolute must-have for anyone creating sites for clients! Bargain for the price and the features it gives! Makes life so much easier for the client and reduces support queries for you!
I like the idea of operating my sites from the front-end backward and WP Swift Control makes that possible. Easy-to-use plugin that is easy to understand (I never use the word "intuitive") and implement. And plugin support was very cooperative and very helpful!
This is a great plugin which keeps getting better. the pro version is well worth buying for the extended level of control. If you're running sites for clients and want to give users a simple means of accessing some key admin functions or even page-builder aware direct way to edit page / post / cpt content then you should check it out. I found a great use for it for example: add a simple 3 button floating sidebar to enable logged in subscribers to a membership site to have immediate front end access to their members home page, their account page and one click logout... Love it.
This fantastic plugin make is so much less complicated for my clients to browse and edit their sites. I highly recommend the Pro version, worth every penny.
This plugin is great because it allows me to quickly access the areas of the website that I need to get to. No more searching through the admin bar to find what I need. A no-brainer to install on all of my websites :).
