I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews? I recently installed this plugin and set it up per the instructions in the dashboard on sendgrid.com and it worked 1st try.
I admit the setup was not easy but after setting it up—email finally started flowing out of my website.

Quite a shame. I am no longer using SendGrid because this plugin is broken in new versions of WP.

Abandoned and broken plugin. I couldn't get it to work, and even if it did, I doubt it's secure anymore.

Love how it works. Only thing I would want to see is making the field where the key goes not use autocomplete.

Sendgrid is a scam. Once registered and card detailed entered, is there no way of cancelling. They will charge you every month the fee, do not reply to any supporting tickets. Visit their Facebook page and see the thousands of customers complaining. Everyone complaining about the same thing, no support, not able to login or cancel accounts.
