Due to a bug in previous versions (of this plugin, you will need to deactivate, uninstall and then re-install to receive future updates.
Grey color schemes for the admin area of WordPress 3.8.

‘A Touch of Blue’ – The Modern Grey theme with a blue hilight for the current selected menu item.

‘Classic Grey’ – The Classic Grey colour scheme from WordPress 3.7, a very light grey for menu items and white backgrounds.

‘Modern Grey’ – The new default color scheme from WordPress 3.8 lightened up!

‘Post Modern Grey’ – The Modern Grey theme with grey instead of blue buttons.

- Extract the archive file into your plugins directory in the grey-admin-color-schemes folder.
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin options.
- Login to WordPress and go to your profile page and choose a grey color scheme to use.

Super-easy to use and works like a charm. My eyes got tired of the stark contrast of the default theme and all the other presets look bad to me. This is when I stumbled on this plugin that does precisely what it says on the tin.
It creates four new themes to choose from in the usual WP manner. Quickly and easily.
The only additions I could ask for are either more themes or further customization of the preset themes, preferably by element.
