Automatic Teachable Student Enrollment for WooCommerce

This little plugin works like a charm…with one problem. It natively ignores the User’s Wordpress login email and will enroll the user in Teachable using their billing email address. That seems very backward (nicest work I could think of) to me. Md.Mahmudul Hasan contacted me and offered to code the plugin to enroll with the users Wordpress User Email instead of their Billing Email. Cost me $50, but will save both me and my customer frustration. Md.Mahmudul Hasan was kind, professional, and efficient. I will ask him to do more WordPress work in the future.

The plugin works as expect

I’m very satisfied with this plugin. I chose to integrate Teachable with WooCommerce because I wanted to have a separate platform for hosting my videos / courses (like Teachable), yet have the sales come through in one place (WooCommerce). I have a variety of different products sold on my site and thus want to be able to upsell or cross-sell courses with those other products. This plugin allows me to create products within WooCommerce and automatically enrol students to a course on Teachable once they’ve purchased that product. How awesome is that?? This way customers won’t need to create an account on my main website so the student enrolment is completely outsourced to Teachable. With plugins like MemberPress that turn your Wordpress website into a course hosting site you have to “force” every customer, whether interested in your course or not to create an account, which can drive down sales and just isn’t fun 😀 For this plugin to work properly you do need to have the Teachable API function enabled which you will have access to within the free trial or their higher tier plan, so it’s a bit pricy. The stress that it saves me and the overall convenience is worth every penny though. Great job on this plugin. You have my full support!
